Privacy Notice – GDPR
We are are required to issue a privacy notice in plain English (under the GDPR
Articles 12, 13 and 14 of the GDPR).
So here goes:
We are not a big “faceless” company. We have real people who you can talk to if you have any problems with how we use your data. We would like to think we are nice people and we will do what we can to help. We treat your personal information as we would like other people to treat our information.
Who is collecting the data?
Zedphones Ltd and DEEPsound are collecting the data and it is overseen by John Bradley who founded the brands.
What data is being collected?
At the time of purchasing a product or signing up to our newsletter, we will collect and store all or some of the following: your name and email address, phone number, address (for delivery of orders), your previous orders, previous communications with you so we can refer back to what was said earlier.
Will the data be shared with any third parties?
How will the information be used?
To communicate with you regarding customer service (fixing something if you have a problem), product issues, updates and marketing – specifically relating to Zedphones and DEEPsound.
How long will the data be stored for?
For the life of the company or until you ask for it to be amended or removed.
What rights do you have regarding how we use your data? You are entitled to:
1) request access to your personal data,
2) demand the rectification of your personal data,
3) request to remove or limit the processing of your personal data,
4) object to the processing of your data,
5) fill a complaint to the authority (the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection).
